Can our Church be Neutral on Moral Issues?
Recent events in the African country of Kenya forced out Adventist Church to make a moral decision, and our leadership decided to declare its neutrality on the issue of abortion, which is definitely a moral issue. So my question is: Can a church be neutral on morality? If a church decides to be neutral on morality, then what is its role in society? Is it to say: “We are neutral on sin, perversion, and murder? Click on the following Internet link and watch the illustrated PowerPoint presentation:
Note: After you click on the link, the Dropbox page should open. Then click on “Can the church be neutral …” option and wait a minute or two.
The Price I Paid for Two Books on Abortion
What price did I pay for two books on abortion? If I tell you the price I paid, you may have a hard time believing me. Of course, I am not referring to the purchase price of a couple of printed book, but rather the price I paid for the production cost of those two books starting with the preparatory work connected with said task, including the task or securing of a Ph.D. degree from a university. …

A New Book Dealing With Abortion & the Adventist Church
A. Why a Book About Abortion?
Perhaps you never heard about the first book I wrote about abortion and the Adventist Church. Why did I do that? What prompted me to invest hundreds and even thousands of hours to write about abortion? The answer is rather simple. There were already two books in print dealing with the topic authored by Adventist writers, but both of them were written in defense of the pro-choice/pro-abortion point of view. There was a desperate need to present the pro-life side of this issue to Adventist readers. …
James Dobson Rejects Obama’s “Wicked” Healthcare Regulations

A sad day in America’s legal history
What took place on April 29, 2014 in Kansas was described by Tom Brejcha, the president of the Thomas More Society, as a “a sad day in America’s legal history,” because Phil Kline, an honest former Kansas State prosecutor, was denied the reinstatement of his law license.
What was Kline’s sin? He dared to prosecute the criminal behavior of the notorious late abortionist George Tiller of Wichita, Kansas, who was accused of “violating state abortion law and covering for pedophiles by not reporting pregnancies of underage girls.” The investigation of Planned Parenthood resulted in a 107-count criminal indictment, but unfortunately for Kline, Tiller had some good friends in high office.
One of them was former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, who was selected by President Obama to preside over his Affordable Healthcare. Kline was unfairly deprived of his position as State attorney, his files were shredded, and his law license suspended. Kline filed an appeal to the Kansas Supreme Court, but the court refused to hear the case.
12 Year-Old Girl Speaks About Abortion
Heroes from the past & heroes from today
Thanks for posting the Live Action email today. They do good work and we at National Right to Life have Miss Rose speak at our annual convention each year. I thank you for your efforts to educate about the issue within the Seventh Day Adventist faith, which Jack Priest told me about and connected me to your emails. Seeing your Live Action email made me think of a recent one from NRLC that might resonate with Adventists.
Reflections on our Adventist Guidelines on Abortion
I want to share with you a letter I sent today to a friend of mine who is doing a great work on behalf of the unborn.
I noticed that in the recent response you received from the General Conference, you were directed to the Adventist “Guidelines on Abortion.” Some years ago, I received a similar answer from a representative of the GC, and I found the testimony of someone identified as “earlysda” who got the same response.
Is Food & Water Extraordinary or Basic Care?
You might remember the case of Terri Schiavo who was starved to death for lack of food and water by order of the court. The picture of the ten year old boy who was arrested by the police for the crime of trying to give the dying woman a glass of water is still fresh in my mind.
Well, since then, there have been many similar cases with similar outcomes. So the question is: Is food and water extraordinary or basic care? Can relatives demand that a patient be deprived of food and water on the premise that water and nourishment represent extraordinary medical care? …
Seven Facts Showing that Adventists Are Not Pro-life,by Nic Samojluk
On January 29 “Specrum Magazine” published an article entitled “Ben Carson Joins Newt Gingrich’s Anti-Obamacare PAC,” authored by Jared Wright, and I counted 620 comments already today. Why so much interest in the topic? Two reasons: A. Dr. Ben Carson is the first Adventist being asked by 250,000 signators so far to run for the 2016 presidential nomination by the Republican Party, and B. At the end of his interview with the Spectrum correspondent, Carson made the following surprising comment: …

Pro-life Sermon by Pastor Will Labrenz
The Long Journey Towards the Eradication of Abortion in Adventism, by Nic Samojluk
The dream and prayer of all pro-life Adventists is that God will produce a revival and reformation among his chosen people and that his Holy Spirit will lead the Adventist Church out of the abortion business.
This may sound like a utopic dream, but for the Lord nothing is impossible. What follows is a summary of the main events connected with the Adventist Church involvement with the abortion business and the growing effort by those Adventists who believe in the dignity of human life and who are eager to move towards such a lofty goal.
This report is the result of countless number of hours by a large number of Adventists who love the church and who are also concerned about the suffering of the victims of this modern genocide, including the women affected by it. …
My time with Peter Singer, by Dan Becker
[Editorial comment: Peter Singer is known around the world for his defense of animal rights and his alleged claim that it is our duty to grant them personhood status. Terri Schiavo’s Final Hours: An Eyewitness Account
Remember Terry Schiavo, the woman who was deprived of nourishment and even water until she died back in 2005 by order of the court? The husband’s attorney claimed that she died peacefully and without any evidence of suffering or pain? Well, the priest who was at her bedside in the last hours of her life wrote a detailed account of what really happened that contradicts the story given to the media by Terry’s husband legal representative. Here is a short quote taken from said account authored by Frank Pavone, the National Director of Priests for Life. …
Sacred Funds: My Personal Dilemma
How should I handle sacred funds such as my tithes and offerings? For six decades my duty was clear: Send them through the official channels of the church. Then I learned that my church was profiting from the killing of the unborn—and I am not talking about the so called “therapeutic abortions,” but rather about elective or abortions on demand. …

Excerpt The Winter 2012 issue of Bible and Spade may be the most important issue we have ever produced. In conjunction with the release of this issue, ABR will also be posting online articles to supplement Bible and Spade. In addition, ABR is offering the “180” DVD, featuring Ray Comfort. …
Adventist Leaders Defend Abortion
This may be a shocker, but there are some Adventist leaders that even today defend the killing of innocent human beings prior to birth. One of them is John V. Stevens, and the other one is a well-known evangelist named Kevin Paulson. There are others who have shared their extreme views, but these two have been the most vocal in defense of the practice of abortion. It is hard to understand how can men of God promote and justify the violation of the Sixth Commandment of the Decalogue, and the direct violation of one of the tenets of our own Guidelines on Abortion which declares that our church does not condone abortions on demand. …
Candid Confirmation of our Adventist Involvement with the Abortion Business, by Nic Samojluk
As I have reported in the past, my personal investigation into the role the Adventist Church has played in the past concerning the abortion business reveals that some of our

An Open Letter to 3ABN President

America’s Looming Demographic Disaster, by Elise Hilton
WASHINGTON, D.C., February 18, 2013, (Acton Institute) – “Our world is overpopulated.” If you repeat something often enough, it becomes “truth”. In 1968, Paul Ehrlich wrote The Population Bomb, warning that we’d all soon be fighting over food, space, and power as the earth sagged under the weight of all those darned people.
He was wrong, of course, and not just wrong: spectacularly wrong. It didn’t keep him from being a celebrity or from his ridiculous notion from being believed. But he was still wrong.
Bill to Defund Planned Parenthood, by Ben Johnson
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 7, 2013, (LifeSiteNews.com) – A U.S. Congresswoman has introduced a bill to deny federal family planning funds to Planned Parenthood and anyone who provides elective abortions.
Rep. Diane Black, R-TN, introduced H.R. 217, the “Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act.”
It would not reduce the amount of Title X money but would reserve tax dollars for women’s health care providers who do not perform abortion except for rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother. Hospitals are excluded from this provision.

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 18, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – The day before hundreds of pro-life activists prepared to flood Planned Parenthood’s offices with requests to schedule a mammogram, the organization issued a statement admitting that they do not offer the cancer screening procedure at any of their facilities.

Democrats pass the most pro-abortion platform in history
The Democratic Party platform, which delegates formally accepted on Tuesday, recognizes a woman’s right to obtain “a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay” – an endorsement of taxpayer-funded abortions.
“What we’re seeing is the abortion lobby taking over an entire political party,” said Elizabeth Graham, director of Texas Right to Life. “The Democratic National Committee’s revised platform calls for unrestricted abortion on demand, at any time during pregnancy, and on the taxpayer’s dime. That’s been the abortion lobby’s goal all along.” …

Billy Graham: If God punished Sodom, what will he do to America that aborts millions?
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, July 27, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In a public letter, famed evangelist Billy Graham wonders whether America could be facing a punishment comparable to Sodom and Gomorrah if the nation fails to repent of its moral degradation, including the 50 million legal abortions committed since Roe v. Wade. In ‘My Heart Aches for America’, Graham quotes a remark by his late wife, Ruth, after she read a passage from one of his books detailing the “terrible downward spiral” of America’s morals.
“If God doesn’t punish America, He’ll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah,” she said.
The Roots of Bioethicists’ Authority on Moral Issues
A Stigmata Case in Loma Linda?
Some years ago I did write the following allegory as a result of my struggle over what to do with my tithes and offerings. Leading Adventist pro-lifers were leaving Adventism and some of them had decided to move back to Rome because of its strong stand against abortion. This was regrettable, and I thought that there should be other more desirable options. One of said options was to send our money to independent ministries like “The Quiet Hour,” “3ABN,” “Amazing Facts,” and so on. Here is said allegory: More:===>

Canadian gynecologists oppose motion to determine when life begins.

CAN WE RELY ON THE ELECTIVE ABORTION INFORMATION COMING FROM THE GENERAL CONFERENCE?
The recent revelations made by Patricia Moleski, an Adventist whistleblower, regarding the criminal doctoring of hospital records at our Adventist Health System [AHS] forces us to wonder whether we can rely on the accuracy and reliability of the information coming out of the General Conference regarding what is taking place in our hospitals [GC].
If the president of the GC relies on the record kept by the AHS, and if such record is routinely altered by the deletion of adverse events taking place in our Adventist hospitals, then how can we trust on what the GC president says about anything connected with our medical institutions? He can be honest and truthful, but if he is fed false information, then his credibility is damaged. More: ===>

When Does Human Life Begin?
For two thousands years both science and religion agreed that human life began from the moment of conception. Seventh-Day Adventists and abortion.
The following article was published by the Washington Post magazine on the 38h anniversary of Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision which legalized the killing of the unborn in all the states of theUnion. As far as I know, the Adventist Church has not done anything to negate the facts alluded to in said report.
“Christians of all denominations are gathering on the National Mall today to protest the 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide. But one denomination that may be sparsely represented is Seventh-day Adventists whose large worldwide network of 170 hospitals allows elective abortions. More: ===>

After years of blogging with Adventists on the “Club Adventist” forum about abortion, I have discovered that no matter what argument I use in defense of the unborn’s right to life, those who oppose my views end with the following entrenched position:

The Right to Kill.
A. Killing the Guilty
Some years ago the then U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft announced that he might “consider seeking the death penalty for Robert Hanssen, a former FBI agent” charged with the crime of passing extremely sensitive documents to Russia. Did Ashcroft have the right to take the life of another human being? As an individual, he did not possess said right, but, invested with the authority society had granted him, he did have the legal right to seek this “ultimate sanction” against one who had compromised the security of our American personnel, whose life might have been placed in jeopardy as a result of said treasonous action. … More: ===>

A Truly Pro-life Adventist Pastor.
Some years ago a friend of mine asked his Adventist pastor how come he never preached about abortion, to which he responded: “If I did that, some of my members might be offended.” Can you imagine John the Baptist or any of the Old Testament prophets giving an answer like that? These men of God were not afraid to preach against immorality and sin, and many of them paid with their lives for doing their sacred duty.
